Renzo Giubergia Prize
The auditions for the final round of the Giubergia Prize for the award of the scholarship, provided by the Foundation of the same name, will take place using the virtual classrooms of uwMeeting.

Zoom MicTrak M2, M3, and M4 Audio Recorders Announced – With 32-bit Float Recording
The new Zoom MicTrak M2, M3, and M4 are audio recorders capable of 32-bit float recording and therefore lacking a gain knob.
They feature a headphone jack for monitoring and recording audio to microSD cards.
The M2 and M4 feature X/Y capsules for two tracks of audio recording and the M4 adds two more tracks via XLR ports.
The M3 looks like an on-camera microphone and comes with a built-in directional capsule.

virtual classroom 0.6.2 - Full HD recording
Version 0.6.2 of the new uwMeeting virtual classroom allows video recording of lessons in Full HD, 1920x1080 pixels.
This format is in addition to the previous 2 formats SD 720x480px and HD 1280x720px.
They are always saved as MP4 files with AAC-encoded audio at 128kbps with mono audio.
Audio channel priority
One of the features that distinguishes uwMeeting from other similar platforms is that it has set a priority for the audio channel.
This preserves high audio quality even when the Internet connection deteriorates.

virtual classroom 0.6.1 - Full HD
Version 0.6.1 of the new uwMeeting virtual classroom, in addition to a number of connection-related improvements, allows video streaming in full HD, 1920x1080 pixels.
In order to broadcast in Full HD, you must have a web-cam or camera that supports this resolution.
Quick Start Lesson
In addition to being able to schedule their own lesson calendar, private teachers can now also start a lesson "on the fly" without having to specify when it should start and how long it should last.
This new option makes it possible to start a lesson, individual or group, whose maximum duration can be up to 4 hours.
Just 3 clicks to start the lesson: selecting the student, saving the lesson, sending the invitation.
The first user to enter the virtual classroom will activate the timer to count the 4 hours available.
In the event that the teacher does not have enough credit, an opportunity will be offered to teach the lesson for a maximum time equivalent to the credit still available.
User deactivation
It may happen that a user interrupts a lesson or exits a lesson without using the appropriate buttons and this causes an error in the system.
When this happens the user still appears to be in some lesson and therefore is no longer allowed to access the same lesson or new lessons.
Institutions now have the new USERS module, which allows them to see which users are active and thus being able to disable and reset those with the problem.
Garda Lake Music Festival
Thanks to uwMeeting, courses and lessons at the Garda Lake Music Festival will also be held remotely.
This will allow students who may be unable to travel, to have lessons with important and distinguished lecturers and teachers, and the Festival will have the opportunity to offer its courses to a wider audience.
